Can someone post a pic fo scale rot?

snakeman2004 Feb 18, 2004 12:15 PM

My boa's scales on his underside look irritted. I think it is a possibility that he is beginning to develop scale rot, although it might benothing...I have never actually seen scale rot, and I'm wondering what it looks like...His scales seem to be especially pink, which may just be him changing colors, but I am a little concerned, nonetheless. If he does have the beginnings of scale rot, how do I treat him before it gets out of control?

I recently switched him to turf from newspapaer, and maybe that is irritating him. I paid too much so I could get the allegedly special reptile turf so that wouldnb't happen, but maybe my boy is a pussy...
