Gecko Eye Infection

roboticboredom Feb 18, 2004 02:08 PM

Hey guys... to start i've already been to my vet who gave me some antibiotic ointment for his left eye.
But now the right eyes is looking kinda weird and i wanted to flush the eye out to prevent that one from getting infected. I tried using water but since the medication is on the eye areas (the greasiness spreads even tho i only put it on one eye) the water just beads up and doesnt go into the eye.
Can anyone suggest an eye flush that i can use or that anyone here has used?? Thanks!

Beth

.. well when I was at the vet, aries eye was stuck shut.. and he just used Bausch & Lomb (sp?) sensitive eyes saline solution to get it open (wiht a q-tip).. you know, comes ina white bottle with blue writing.. people use it who have contact lenses.. it's just a saline solution..
and to prevent/get rid of any budding infection, he told me to get Polysporin liuid eye drops (over the counter)..
