haven't been on in a while....

krackaboy1 Jun 09, 2003 10:36 AM

A kid I grew up with committed suicide 2 fridays ago... so I haven't had much time for the computer.... Even had to have one of my friends feed my animals for the week, since I wasn't home for more than 5 hours a night.

Well, here's my update- I've got 9 eggs now that look like they're going to hatch. The oldest egg was layed April 8th, so I'm going nuts in waiting. I'm expecting 4 more eggs by the end of the week... 2 of the 4 are due today, if my girl's hissy attitude has anything to do with it.

Just minutes ago I brought home my new rack, capable of keeping 40 babies. I'm not sure when the next show is near me... I'm hoping it' comes before the first eggs hatch, so I can get some heat tape running thru my rack.

Well, just checking in... Really haven't read anything on the forum for the past week and a half, so anything worth reading happen?

Hey bud, sorry about your friend. Suicide is always a tough deal - people think they are helping themselves and others around them by doing it - but they only hurt people more. I'm so sorry you have to go through this.

Hang tough dude. There is nothing so bad in life that a person has to take their life. I'm a Christian - so when times are tough, I always look to the one who stepped in my place and gave his life for me - but I'm not going to preach at you!! Just hang in there and remember that life is definitely worth living.

Send me a note if you ever need to yap about it.

Nothing new on the gecko front. One of my incubators spazzed a bit - so I'm anxious to see if any eggs were affected.

Be cool. Sorry again. Remember, there is real hope available!!!

Darn, sorry to hear that. Life can throw you those curves right when you least expect it. Hang in there. Not been on here much myself lately tis summer now ya know. I had some eggs laid the 9 and they just hatched today should be soon for you. The Bean Farm has pretty good prices on heat tape and supplys if you don't want to wait.
