Great lizard. However.. are those real plants you've got there? Sanseveria?

Peter - Since when did they change the meaning of "for" to "from?"
Brian - They had a meeting about it last night.
Peter - Why wasn't I informed?
Brian - They sent you a card, but it said "For Peter" so you must have thought it was from yourself so... It's just easier to call you stupid.

I noticed because I'm trying to "naturalize" my viv. I'm currently trying to figure out what to use for substrate.. do you have any suggestions? (regarding substrate, or planting generally)
Thanks alot

Home depot sand when soaked can be molded almost like clay and dries to form a natural looking desert crust or hardpan.

I use 2 types of sanseveria plants which are hardy and tough. and can take heat and a tromping.
Also jade and haworthia- all varieties common at home depot or franks nursury or other chain stores.

I stopped using haworthia cause when its the Desert Igs turn to use the Vivs they eat that variety but leave the others alone.

Most of my plants are in tupperware to prevent the burrowing lizards from wrecking the root systems. get Philipe DiVosjolis (sp.) desert vivarium book thats what got me going on Vivs.
