*still* brumating - how long will it last!?

bexley Feb 18, 2004 02:37 PM

So the Doodle-noodle is still brumating, how long will this go on for? Last time, he was zonked for just over 7 weeks, more than long enough. This time around he's been out for much longer. I got him up last weekend, gave him a warm bath, coaxed him to eat a little, and he lasted 2 days - two days of moving about to snooze in different spots, then back into his den, sound asleep.

We're now going past week 11 (!!!), when is he going to start to wake up? I'm worried about him, he looks thinner and his colour is dark from sleeping so much in the cool end. Any suggestions, or comfort for a stressed out me?

It's been over 20 weeks. I kind of miss her.

20 weeks!! How can you stand it? I miss doodle-noodle terribly, the most I get is a cute little nose poking out once in a while, with a sleepy blink. Even I am noticing how late its staying light, I just hope he does soon too!

heh, I see I am not the only one missing his dragon. Mine has been brumating since November.

thinking about staying up. I let her sleep (since October) undisturbed, except a couple of time getting her up to weigh her then put her right back.

Last week I decided I'd had enough and got her out, and it took her a couple of days to come around but now she's dug into her salad two days in a row and is running some laps in her enclosure. She still won't chase a cricket but will chow on it when it goes by. Fat, lazy dragon! (and getting crix fewer times/week until she shows me she needs 'em.)
