Just got some more frilleds today, tell me what you think of the deal.

poisonfrog420 Feb 18, 2004 04:02 PM

I just got my three new frilleds in today. They were advertised as being 12"-8". All three are between 6"-7". I was told by the guy I bought them from that he would send the larger ones and that they would be correctly sexed. Do you think that it is possible to sex them correctly at such a young age? They look like they are only a few weeks old. Any way, the guy knew I was wanting only females and told me they would be a little bit larger than what they are. Do you think it was still a good deal? They look a little skinny, but hatchlings are kind of scrawny any way. I paid $115 each plus shipping. I will try to post pics later today, I just want to know what every one else thinks of this deal. By the way the shipping and packaging was top notch.

Well, that sort of stinks that they were smaller than advertised, but $115 is pretty close to wholesale prices. I dont know about sexing them that small unless you have a lot of experience. Although, I actually seem to do better sexing month olds than 4 month olds. Most people dont sex them until around 7 months old. Who knows! Some people have a good eye!
congrats on the new babies!
