Well, my corns have been out of brumation long enough for both of the females to shed. The male hasn't shed, and when introduced to the two females, he ignored both. One of the females ignored him, and the other got all "jerky" which to me is a sign of wanting to breed. I also have a male cal king that is out of brumation and showing every sign of wanting to breed... decreased appetite, roaming his cage, etc. Since the corn wanted to breed, I thought, "what the heck" so I put the cal king in with the corn (watching them both VERY carefully. The corn took one whiff of the king and got all jerky again. The King, on the other hand, just froze. When I reached into the cage, for what reason I can't recall, I learned his response.... ATTACK! He launched himself at me, biting several of my fingers before I got a handle on him. Then he turned and launched himself at the corn, his intention OBVIOUSLY not to breed. I was glad I had a hand on him, as he was unable to connect with the corn (but did get my OTHER hand).

Anyway, thought this was slightly amusing. It wasn't a concerted attempt to breed the two, just curiosity. (I wouldn't have minded having them breed if they were so inclined)
