Teddy & Thomas walking (for eric also)...

Niki Jun 09, 2003 11:43 AM

once they get to the road I take over and we walk up and down
the entire neighborhood roads, heels better than any dog!
Every kid and adult here knows him (they don't gawk too much,
just their company still does! lol!) and my primary concern is
with dogs - it's gotten better since they're almost done with
building in this subdivision but at first it was bad with strays
cause we were one of the first houses here. That's why I got
the dog pen 6 ft. fence - could not think to put up a privacy
fence while there was so much construction going on, especially
next doors. The construction workers always gawked and asked
questions but nobody bothered him outside.
A garage will be miserable hot and very cold, not to mention the
usual stuff kept in a garage would be bad for them. Don't deny
them the summer outside. Actually the size Teddy is now, I'm
not worried too much about dogs I just don't want them coming up
to me anyways. If you can manage to make some adjustments try
keeping them, they're still small and you never know what might
work out. By the way, I'm in Fayetteville and also work at
Oak Island Fire Dept. Emergency Management Brunswick County as
I find time for that. Oak Island is a Sea Turtle Sanctuary.
Generally though, I'm home and coaching my All-Star baseball
team! Teddy's spoiled with lots of attention too.

Teddy was still wearing a vest for safety last year!
I've had people ask if he was real or a robot toy. I've had
people say they thought I had a dog or cat with me. Then I've
had people ask if he's a pet (no he followed me out of the river
dummy! lol!) lot's of "does he bite" "what's he eat".
As with anything else, kid's get bored quickly - I doubt they'll
bother your torts.

you can see the construction everywhere (port-a-potties)
I had to watch him constantly about picking up cigarette
butts, he doesn't bother with them now though.
He's trying out his Halloween costume here! Now he just
goes as his giant scary self! Maybe he can go as HULK this
year! lol!
