boa regurgitate?

impackt22 Feb 19, 2004 11:00 AM

I am not to sure how old she but she is 24" long. She regurgitated 2 weeks ago because the temps were a little cool at night. I regulated her tank to the proper temps and now it is setup correctly. I just fed her 2 days ago. Can I feed her again on sunday which would be 5 days later?

If she keeps this meal down, pretty much...
what size prey are you feeding her? if it is every 5 days, make sure it isn't too big.. atleast for now that she is getting over the regurge.

As Joe mentioned it's probably safe to feed after a week if the boa held the meal down but for a few feedings you should also feed it smaller than usual food items until you know the animal's good to go. It's less taxing on the digestive tract and could save you a lot of headaches in the long run. Figure if the animal regurges again it will have to go two more weeks without a meal so better to be safe and feed smaller.
