Earthworms in soil?

FisherCham20 Feb 19, 2004 11:04 AM

While cleaning my cham's cage yesterday I noticed something moving in the soil. I grabbed it and it was a small earthworm/nightcrawler! I know they're good for plants but should they not be in there? Thanks!

As far as I know, chameleons eat the things, so there shouldn't be any harm done to the chameleon, and the only thing theyre doing to the plant is areating it.

Thanks! I know that earthworms...uh... "by product" is used as plant food. There's a few big earthworm farm in FL just for that.
