ok, i'll ask again....about my angry male

this is my buddy phisk the male in my group. he just started eating and i think hes coming out of hibernation. today i opened his house and he snapped at me real bad, twice! is that cuz hes coming out of hibernation and his "hormones" are running high? it makes sense but has anyone else experienced this?

Most likely he is feeling big bad and FRISKY! I have had breeding males get very territorial and bite. LOL take care with that ferocious beast.
