Nice pic! What is that black ring in the front of the Glad container? I use a similar method but I use the Glad Ovenware containers since they're all black.

What is that black thing for the hole?

Its nothing but a tank hole plug. (one of those things that fills the hole in which heat rock cords fit through on reptile tanks) you can find them at ace hardware, menards or home depot. basically i just measured the hole and cut a bigger hole in the center of the plug and popped it in. The snake loves it.

I have tried many different ways to get rid of the rough edges left behind after cutting a hole in a plastic container. GREAT IDEA!
