For those of you who use Ol' Roy Dog food for your rodents ....

Da Truth Feb 19, 2004 02:48 PM

I bought a bag a long while ago for food for my roaches, and i was using it for my Rats now. Thing is, the kibble is smaller than the 1/2 inch mesh that i Have on the bin, so I am forced to just pour it onto their bedding.

If you use Ol'Roy, What type do you use, so that it is big enough to stay on top of the 1/2 inch hardware cloth. I need to get A different type, since they dont seem to like eating off of the substrate. Any help wond be apreciated.

I believe I got the senior formula(I threw away the bag long ago), It was in a brown bag.

Thanks,

Truth

I use ol' roy bites and bones, it's just big enough to be pulled through the 1/2 hardware cloth, I to use the same size as a feeder drop, and they can get to it fine. Just make sure the drop is low enough for weaned babies to get to.
