1. Styrofoam lined box.
2. Brown paper luch bag.
3. Heat pack
4.Ship it in a styrofoam lined box.
Place jackson in a brown sandwich bag with stredded paper or paper towel inside to cushion. Seal paper sack then place into a styrofoam lined box that is filled with shredded paper to keep bag from bouncing around during shipping.
Depending on temps on where your shipping you may need a heat pack. Not handwarmers real heat packs sold online or at pet stores (they will say 40 or 60 hour heat pack).
Seal box and ship.
To ship a chameleon, the best all around company I would say is UPS.... To use them to (legally) ship live animals, you need to set up an account. USPS will usually take some live animals (but not always.... Depends who you talk to) but USPS is very hesitant to guarantee next morning or next day delivery, and it seems even when they do, they arive late. UPS has you set up your account, and requires you to do a daily pickup (where they come to your house/buisness every day, whether or not you're shipping), which is something like $7-16 a week depending on how much you ship. The more you ship, the less the charge. Sometimes they'll allow you to call in a pickup for a small charge, but technically you're supposed to have the daily pick up. Shipping with them runs anywhere from $25-40, basically depending on how far it's going. They also have you fill out a bit of paperwork, and the whole process can take a little time, so do it a few weeks before you need to ship.
