Hovabator Temp

lostkauze Feb 19, 2004 03:47 PM

I posted a question down below, the same one, but its kinda urgent, so I wantedto bring it to the top. I still cant get my hovabotor to be 80. The only way for me to do so is to take out the viewing windows, and tilt the lid open. I want the lid and windows to be on/in. How do i get my temperature down? Its a thermal air.

Your wafer thermostat inside the Hovabator has gone out. You can get replacement wafers for like 6 bucks a local feed store.

I’m guessing you have the temperature dial on the lowest setting possible. What I did last year was just unplug the hovabator and put it in a closet that was centrally located to the house. That’s what I did for females. The thermometer you get with the hovabator is pretty inaccurate, It’s worth investing in a $10-20 digital thermometer to get the temperatures right. Give us some more info; it might help shed some light on the problem. Best of luck!

Thanks for your help. I think I fixed the problem. The wing nut that was below the L shapped spinner for the temperature was in a bad spot, so I move it around and now it's looking steady at 80. Sorry I'm not using techical terms, don't know what they are. I'll write later if problems persist. THanks!
