jerzreptile21 Feb 19, 2004 03:52 PM

My orange male gecko is nuts.He hates being even next to my hand.I havenmt handled him really since i had him.I put a diver in my 20 L between my younger male and him.And i caught him at 2 in the morning , he climbed up the divider and pushed up the screen and was half way on the other side.I took the younger one out and made it secure.I went to grab him and he runs around the whole tank bumpin into things. How can i train him like my other 5 geckos ??

He can smell the other male in the tank. He was probably going over there to try to fight with him. You should proably invest in another tank, before he makes it over there when you aren;t there.

Hi

Curiousity question, have you ever touched the other male or another male you may have and then try to touch this one that won't let you get near/hold him?. If so, maybe that could be it, he can smell the other male/males on your hands.
