Ceramic Heaters For Roaches?

magnus1028 Feb 19, 2004 07:42 PM

Is it a good idea to use ceramic heaters instead of using red bulbs.

Thanks

The main difference betweent the two is that the red incandescent bulbs will burn out much faster than ceramic heat emitters. In the long run, CHE are the better value.

I keep my roaches in a rack system. They do much better with bottom heat. I use fex-watt under my containers and give them plenty of food. They keep producing like crazy, so I guess its working well.
