Hi ric,

thanks for sharing your pix with us! It made me sad b/c they remind me of my trio of leaf chams. Are yours R. brevi's? Question...in photo 11 there is, what loosk like, a metal box. What is that?

Hi lele,

Yes, they're R. brev.

The 'metal box' was actually an protection cover of my humidifier where it was installed underneath. Besides, I'm really impress of your observation: )

So, what happen to your trio? Any advise for me of how to keep them in good shape?

Ric

Hi Ric,

Unfortunately we don't know what happened to my trio I only had them for 3 months.

They were CB, purchased from a very reputable breeder (I have never blamed them and frankly, would recommend them) and I did everything right...or so I thought. The speculation is that it was a supplement issue - too much? B/c they are "relatively" new to the trade there are many questions. Since that experience (I only had them for 3 months) and having acquired Luna this past Sept. I focus on gutloading for her nutrition. Just like humans it is better if we get our nutrition from our foods rather then depending on supplements. I dust sometimes, but I just feed my crix real well! I tend to dust if I am feeding her something I can't gutload like superworms.

How long have you had yours?

Hi lele,

Many thanks for your info.

Yes, I totally agreed with you. I also believe too much supplement sometime do harm more than good.

I had them just over 3 months now, however, I have already start to planning the cooling system for them as it tends to get pretty hot here in summer.

Good thinking. I am in NH and if I still had them that would not have been a problem. With the open cage (like Luna is in) the challenge here is the humidity and dry air, whereas my tank inhabitants can stay more humid.

Best of luck with your little ones! I have some cute photos of my trio that I will repost for you. Actually, I may try the site you used - it is free? I get tired of KS Gallery always having to delete in order to upload new (hey, I'm not complaining!) and have been looking for another site.
