I was actually just looking at her again today, but I never seemed to ask if she was a orange phase or just a plain jane when I got her. What do you guys all think? All opinions are welcome!
Oogey,
. I don't know what an orange phase is? I think your BRB is a beautiful one that is more orange colored than most BRBs. I would hate to see all of us here fighting like people fight on the boa forum about what phase or morph an animal is. BRBs have a great deal of naturally occuring variation in color. The use of the word "phase" might indicate to someone that it is a heritable trait that always breeds true. I have had BRBs that were even more orange than your very orange one come from parents that were dark brown. I have seen BRBs from the same litter range from bright orange to dark red to brown.
