When the weather cooled off my bullfrog quit croaking. Now, just a few days ago, I heard him making loud croaking noises, and I was very elated! I'm going to give him some special treats-superworms with crushed up head, maybe even a pinkie. I sure miss hearing that bullfrog! He's already eating LOTS of crickets and it's not quite warm yet.
It's funny though-my eyelash frog croaks (acutally honks) regardless of the season. He honks as soon as he sees me wake up. Sometimes we get into a honking session where he honks, and I make the same sound, and we go at it back and forth for a long time...and when I change the intonation of my honking so will the frog! Absolutely bizarre! It's like I'm taking to him LOL
