My albino boa is starting to look like Groucho Marx !..more

East TN Reptile Feb 19, 2004 10:35 PM

I don't know if this is somewhat typical or down right odd! Over my male albino's eyes & the top part of his nose is turning a charcoal/ grey look. He's begining to look like he has eyebrows! Anyone ever seen this before?
Thanks in advance,
Dave @ East TN Reptiles

I received 3 email total from you around 9am your time, today. I sent to more to you in reply to your emails. I do not think I received the replies to mine because they did not speak to the questions I had asked. All the emails you sent me had 1)pics of babies 2) pics of two diff. fathers (old dad and new dad) and 3)pics of the mama and pic of the pair together.

I think those were just the original emails you sent me from my original questions.
I will look for more emails from you tonight as I am sure you are at work.

Do you keep it on newspaper??

East TN Reptile Feb 20, 2004 03:53 PM

so it's just white news paper. I even gently tried to wash it off..................it won't ! The makings are getting darker every shed. I'll try to get some pics up. Someone suggested my male could be paradox ?! Thoughts?
Dave

Pics would probably help, I do not suspect it is paradox, however ya never know. If I keep my albinos on regular printed newspaper I have noticed they get those marks, some more than others, I just assumed it was from the ink. Maybe I should see what happens with unprinted paper?? I look forward to seeing your pics. Do the dark areas get lighter or darker right after a fresh shed?
