Has anyone ever heard of some sort of really small beardie?? My friend swears he saw something the looks exactly like a beardie buy stays really small..... I Don't Know...

There is a Dwarf Bearded Dragon- Pagona minor
normal Beardie is- Pagona vitticeps
There is one smaller than the dwarf called the Drydale River Dragon - Pogona microlepidota The book says it is reminiscent of a North American Swift (hope they do not mean the bird?)but it is also not in the Pet Trade here legally.
Another one like that is Mitchell's Bearded Dragon - Pagona mitchelli
The small one that the Book says would make a great Pet is Pogona nullarbor also known as the Banded Bearded Dragon but it is rare in th U.S.

Yeah, I have a Rankin's dragon, and she's as cute and lovable as can be. she's also about 10 and a half inches from her nose to the tip of her tail. The Rankin's dragons look just like a regular bearded dragon, except shrunken. Their spines are smaller, and the angles on their bone structure are a little softer and not so pronounced. They have the same great personality of regular bearded dragons. Give one a try. I highly recommend them.

You are looking for a Lawson's Dragon (Rankins)(Pagona Henrylawsini sp?). I personally have never seen one at a pet store, so you would need to check out a show or buy from a breeder online.
