This new girl I traded for yesterday...

Ever since I put her in the quarentine tank, she has sat on top of the hide. She did get down once last night to chase a cricket I threw in to see if she was interested in feeding. Should I show her where the hole is in the hide, I feel like she's stressing herself out feeling like she's in the open. Her quarentine tank is a 5gallon with aquarium backing on 3 sides, so only the front is open... should I bother, or just let her be?

I'd probablly just let her be, because if she is stressed, bothering her will stress her more. Is she sleeping on the hide, and relaxing, or is she constantly up and alert. I have a feeling that if she really wanted to be in a hide she'd find some place to be, they're pretty smart animals. Hope that helped.

Nah, she looks like she's just chilling out. Of course, I compare my tank to a penthouse suite when compared to a pet shop box, lol.

Yes I have to agree with the previous, if anything sleeping outside is a good sign, because it means they are comfortable.
