my tokay got beat up, is there anything i should do?

Ok, a week ago i bought a tokay from the local pet store, i picked the most docile of the 3 in the tank. as the guy was trying to catch mine, which kinda just ran around, and didnt try and bite. but there was one point when he did open his mouth, and one of the more aggresive tokays bit him right on his lower jaw. so i took him home and his mouth was bloody. then it scabbed up. it seems everytime he opens his mouth, the scab comes off, and its healing, but very slowly because of where it is. i got the little fellar to open his mouth yesterday, and to me his throat looked red, and i thought it was blood, but im pretty color blind, and it could have been black, and from what i am reading thats normal. in any case, the cut is right on his bottom lip/jaw so its a little swollen, and it does get a scab. there is no yellow crusty stuff. he is eating fine, and is fast as all hell. not aggressive at all, i dont know if that indicates anything. should i do anything to help this heal, or just let nature run its course? thank you in advance.

Most pet store tokays are wild caught. Because of this he/she probably has parasites. They are also very stress from transportation and living in cramped quarters. All of this makes him prone to infection. To be prudent, take him to a veterinary for a fecal check and to check that bite for a possible infection before bad becomes worst. Until the vet trip you can dab small amounts of antibiotic ointment (that we humans use on our cuts) on his bite.

He may seem relatively fine now, but since you asked for advice , I am strongly suggesting that you take him to a veterinarian for that check.

Here some pictures of what a healthy tokay should look like:http://www.daygecko.com/html/tokay_geckos.html
