I don't know anything about morphs not even a little (although I love em) but I got a couple emails saying that it look like one. I didn't buy it as one just as a regular animal.

Hi Alex, she doesn't look like an anerythristic to me...
I think it's possible but highly unlikely due to the red in the tail.

don't know boa morphs. He is a super looking animal. I'll post better pics when he fattens and lightens up. I put him on a pastel female I really don't know what sense that made since the black and white is the opposite of the orange and pink female. Who knows I'll see.
Thanks,
Alex
Could be a neat combo for breeding. Look forward to the outcome!

I would have to agree with Joe. I would not think that this is an example of an Anery. Way too much red (Anerys should not have any red anyway).
Although the saddles are dark, there are still browns (takes red to create brown) on the saddles as well.
I can tell you it IS a nice looking boa though!

I do not have a large one like that, but you can see the difference I hope...Mine has no color but silver, white, or black. Perhaps somone has a pic of an older anery they can post as well.

It's definitely not an anery in my opinion because by definition there shouldn't be any red present which is evident in the tail area. Just confirming Joe's statement. If not for the tail it appears to be half way there.
This is my 7' proven Anery Female. Someone had mentioned having an adult pic of one for comparison.
They all tend (like most boas) to 'muddy up' as they age. I would like to keep a pair of babies and just refine the Anery gene in the future so we can hopefully see Anerys that stay looking like they do (as close as possible) as babies.
She should be the proud mama of some Ghosts this winter/next spring!
Enjoy!

.......
horribly......
Brian was nothing but polite to you. All he was trying to get was an answer from you. WHICH.......You have STILL not answered. I know I don't know you at all. But, from what I have seen here on the forum lately..........I'll never buy from you. (I'm sure that doesn't matter a hill of beans to you. I just want to let you know that how you "represented" yourself here was tacky in my opinion. That is not the type of person I want to give my money to. Regardless to how good their animals look.)

anybody who has every owned or photographed an Anerythristic Boa knows very well, that it is VERY difficult, sometimes impossible, to capture the animal without any brown/rust. Its all in the lighting/flash. That animal is without a doubt an Anery.
A 2001 model, she is a little more than six feet long. I think she has kept her color wonderfully! I think she might make for some amazing ghosts one day. I hope you like her.......

I personally find nice anerys to be some of the best "morph" boas going. I have yet to meet many people who see a NICE anery in person that do not admire the looks of them, snake people or not. In fact I show my boas off to alot of non herper friends, and 9 times out of 10 people pick out my wifes anery as their favorite one of the group. Im not sure what it is, but I think its the extreme contrast of light and dark that draws people in with them. In my opinion they are by far some of the most undervalued "morph" boas. I think as more and more people see the difference between a anery and a ANERY the price will soon start to reflect in regards to quality anerys. Plus I personally know a couple of people working to try and produce the "cleanest" most contrasting anerys available, much like ivory anerys for instance (and no offence to anyone, but I have seen alot of dull ivories in photos, I think there is alot of work left in the anery trait).
Enough of my rambling here is a shot of my girl Annie
