I have a year old female.
She has never had any black in her beard but to day when i go up she was acting funny.(just running around the cage)
I pick her you and her beard was all black why is that.

Hi Brandon,
Females turn their beards dark as well as males. It can be anything from seeing another dragon, being cold, mad, feeling ill, or just seeing their reflection.

I know the reason that I asked she just sit there and i is still black. so this is just one of those things.
