Does anyone here belong to a PDF group or society on the west coast? I would really like to join one if possible.

There are a couple of us here in the bay area, I am in Los Gatos right outside san jose, there are a few in san jose and greenstar(danny) lives in fremont. We kind of talked about it after frogday but nothing ever happened because chuck powell said they tried a couple years back and it didnt' do too well. For now there is nothing that I know of.

Frog Day

I'm about 45 minutes out of san jose, near santa cruz and salinas.

I didn't realize you were on this forum. I am getting really excited about Frogday I don't know if I'll be able to get frogs this year but I'll definatly be there!

Lol! So there isnt a PDF group around me. Maybe one day we can start one up if there were some more people around us. I will definatly be at Frog Day also. See you guys and gals there.

I can't wait til frog day! Why isn't it more times each year???? I drive up from LA to get there, and its totally worth it. But can't you guys convince them to have one in the fall too?? One year is tooooo long to wait. There is IAD but its too far this year, maybe next. Ahhhh, Frog Day why are you sooo far away still????? The next best thing that is sooner is IRBA in San Diego. I hear Pumilio.Com will be there. He's got some NICE frogs!!! Maggie

frog day is going to be in san jose? the frog day page said 2003! so i figured there wouldn't be one this year!! are you guys talking about frog day 2004? is it in san jose?

Yes, this year its in San Jose as well, I think this is the last year because Chuck won't have time to organize after this year, so it could be moved next year if no one takes control of it in this area.

Awesome I am really happy we can keep it in the area, I would but I am only 16 and am in school so that doesn't work, I'm on the volunteer list for this years and I will help with anything for the next one as well

I don't think there are any PDF groups just for the west coast. There are on line groups on yahoo groups for PDF's and for mantellas, and I run an on line group for Vivariums ( I keep PDF's). BTW I'm in Modesto- I noticed you are close by in Stockton.
