I would think so. I've used the Aqua Safe for over 15 years.

I would also like to say I've been doing lots of research and I'm starting to learn some things and I have found through a few sources that the reptisafe stuff isn't good. Not sure exactly what you are using it for with your sallie but my firebellied newt lives mostly in water and what I've read says reptisafe can change the PH of the water which can affect the animal. good luck
