Possibly going to get some collareds in the spring...

beardielover13 Feb 20, 2004 06:23 PM

I am planning on going to Utah in the spring to collect some collareds.Does anyone have any idea of the rules for bringing them back to the state of Idaho? Also, I know that they need to be in a 30 long for a trio. Would it be best to keep them all seperate for quarantine or all together? Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure about the laws in Idaho but you'll want to take a look at the rules for collecting in Utah.

I don't think you'll need to quarentine them if you catch them in the same general area since they'll all have the same parasites.

Good luck and take lots of pictures.

Hey there.

I think as long as they're Crotaphytus Collaris, then they're legal, but not bicintores, since Idaho is about the Northernmost part of their range, they're a species of special concern.
Thought that might help.
