Cricket free?

Priest Feb 20, 2004 08:54 PM

I am thinking of trying to get my beardie off crix, not right away, he's still only 3.5 months old. I am planning on building a large cage with a sliding front door. With the added space, furnature and the door, I'd prefer to stop using crix. I wanted to know at what age I could start to get him on worms. Silk worms arn't easy to get where I am, but giant mealworms are easy (in fact, I'm starting to breed them now) and so are kingworms. Anyway, What age? Which worms?

Thank you

Joe

the only worms I would recomend are supers as a treat and the silkies as a staple. Giving one or two supers to BDs over 12" is ok, only as a treat. Mealies are hard to digest
