I have a 2 yr. old Aussie water dragon who has a retained scale cap on the tip of his mouth in the lower jaw portion. Basically, the first scale on his face in the lower jaw region. Anyways, it is retained and was never removed from a previous shed I suppose and I'm looking for any tips/methods anyone uses besides soaks of water to get the scale off??? It isn't too bad of a retain scale, but slightly noticeable when you look at the side profile of his face. I just want him to grow looking like the stud that he is. Thanks!
