Odd Question

XxJackalxX Feb 21, 2004 12:38 AM

Ok I have to ask, is there any way at all you guys have found to influence your geckos to NOT use a certain part of the tank as a restroom? lol..I know its odd but in my tank I use a ceramic cave I bought for a humid hide and no matter where in the tank i place it my gecko poops on it. Its not that big of a deal, but its not easy to clean. Anyone ever come acroos something like this?

...move the potty over to where you want them to go and leave it there for a few days until they figure it out.

Lol. Seraph always goes in the same corner, right in plain view of the room.. I'm not sure what you could do to prevent your leos from going to the bathroom on your ceramics, sorry. They've got strange habits, and short of removing the piece or doing something that could hurt your leos I'm not sure there's much to be done about it.

Mine always has to go on either me, my bed, or my floor... She'll be in her cage for 2 days not go to the bathroom and when i pick her up and hold her for half an hour so aways goes... i think she has went to the bathroom in her cage once or twice and thats when i got her to her cage and put her in fast (and carefully...)
