Trying to get an idea of how many animals are produced each year. Please contribute......

Brian Oakley Feb 21, 2004 12:43 AM

Ok, talking with a friend, yes we like to brainstorm, we were thinking about how many snakes are produced each year nation wide.
we would like you to tell us (accurate numbers please) how many snakes you produce each year. I will be posting this on other forums so please do not reply to the same post on another forum as we will be keeping track. For this study, we are talking snakes alone, if you breed different types, that is fine to include them all in one post. Not to forget about the amphibain, lizard, torts, etc. people, but just work with us here.
I am sure there are things you would think of to add to this inquiry, but that is something we can do in the future. Just wanted a general number for now on the above question.

I will answer this the best I can...But I haven't produced in 2 years now.

When I was producing I averaged around 50 neos a year.

You never experience life until you have kids..then you realize what you should have done rather then what you did do

I don't breed my animals regularly, but I produced 18 Bci in 2000 and am expecting one (possibly two) litters later this year.
