alright guys i have a question...during this spring and summer, where and what can i do to catch a garter or ribbon snake where should i look to catch one? thanks

It depends on where you are, I would say the best bet is to find a field with stuff to look under or set some tin out. also make sure there is water in the area a pond a creek what ever, look for things they would eat frogs,worms,fish, and you should have a good chance at finding them. I seem to find all my ribbon snakes right next to the waters edge.
