Some People...(gripes)

As posted on here previous I got 2 new girls last week out of my local paper that came from very good lines (satyrday and sandfire). These poor girls, more one than the other. She had layers of unshed skin on her stomach and legs. Today while giving her a bath I was able to get a couple of layers of dead skin off her back leg, it wasn't even attached except a few spots just loose skin that never shed right, then afterwards I noticed her stomach wasn't just starting to shed, but way past. I thought she had a respiratory infection, well I was able to get out a couple of layers of old shed skin off her nose, and some what look like 1/4 inch plugs came with it. No wonder she couldn't breathe. I can post some pics later. It is so frustrating what some people will do.

I feel for you and your new baby, because they are always our babies no matter how old they are, I cry inside at how some people treat animals but than I hear of people who do thing like this to their own i.e. leave their own children in locked cars in 100 degree temps. Or do not feed them. and i wonder why these people are allowed to live. Our best hopes to you keep us informed on how they are doing

she definitely seems happier to be able to breathe normally. I ran to the vet since I know it's not always a good idea to help with shedding. He said with the nose as long as there was no bleeding or obvious signs of pain then it's good that I helped out. Hopefully I can keep her improving so she can make some nice babies for me! I am trying to stay positive here.

when I was in South Carolina, i was at a shopping center type thing and it was 103F and there was a dog in the car beside us with the windows opened(felt 110F up) enough for me to open the door, i waited til the owners got back and it turns out the dog was 17 years old! They said it wouldn't matter, and i told them he/she could die, they didn't believe me! I was so mad!
I am glad you have those beardies, i just wish all were so lucky.
