Accelerated Growth

I have a several month old snow corn who I would like to fatten up and get growing. I started out feeding him a pinkie once a week, and now have him going for one every 5 days. Other than keeping his feeding schedule as is, does anyone know any other ways to jump start his growth?

If your snake is several months old, it may be time to move up to fuzzies. Also, My several month old corn snake eats every 4-5 days.

You can try rat pinks. They have 'more to' them than mice of equal size, and are about the same size as a mouse fuzzy. You can then keep the snake on rats, rather than feeding more smaller prey when the snake is an adult.

I just wonder why it is you're trying to get him a "jump start"? It's best not to over feed or try to rush them to grow. Rat pinks are about the size of a hopper mouse, I usually move rats when the snakes eat more than one hopper a week. And then pups rather than pinks.

Just my opinion, but I see no reason to rush them to grow. It does more harm than good.
