Just some questions:

1) how long out of his tank before he starts claming down?
2) should i just sit a water dish somewhere in the room?

that is it.
Thanks
Brandon

It will take a while but your iguana should learn to trust you. Put the iguanas water and food next to the place you spend the most time in your room.

I spend most of my time on the bed so should i put the water dish beside the bed?

Put the food and water next to your bed. For heat put a heat pad on the floor but make shore it is not Abel th burn you carpet. Although my iguana is 4 foot my little brother has a 2 foot iguana that is also a free roamer and he never tries to go under the door or anything like that, he spends most of his time on top of the certain. i will ask him to post pics of his.

There are a lot of things you need to do before you just let your iguana roam and live outside of an enclosure. Remember it needs UVB light and a place to bask. I don't think you want your room 85-95 degrees it would be pretty unbearable for you. You have to make your room iguana proof. Iguanas can fit into really small openings and under doors and other places you wouldn't think they could fit. They are great escape artists. Even if they don't fit they will still try and probably get hurt. Also make sure that nothing can fall on it. Or when it climbs on stuff make sure it is stable and not going to fall over. I don't know how big your ig is, but it makes a difference in some of the things you need to do and watch out for. I would like to have my igs be free roamers, but they need to get bigger first. It would take a lot for me to ig proof my house. I will always have an enclosure for them too. Good luck and I hope your iggy becomes friendly. I hane feed my igs all the time. I think they prefer that.

Your welcome, and i think you should clip there nails so you don't get hurt and so your iguana could feel comfortable, But make shore you don't cut too much.
