What's a good alternative to bran for food/substrate for Superworms?

rich_123 Feb 21, 2004 12:20 PM

I've tried many things from fish food flakes to bran cereal but my superworms still eat each other as if they're starving.

I always put about 2 baby carrots for every 10 superworms, that lasts about 2-4 days. Use baby carrots/potatoe slices/apple slices.

My preference as a moisture source are raw yams/sweet potato or baby sweet carrots. The yams last alot longer than the baby carrots.
