sorry, this might be a dumb ? but i was wondering how do you get the lighting into a rubbermaid enclosure for a snake? do you have to cut a hole in the lid or what? if someone can tell me how it would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Hey, I've seen it on a website where they cut out the top of the lid in a circle, attach some wire mesh and put a dome light on top.It was on some aboreals site,I was surprised that, that could be done, how hard was that to think of.
you can put one of those wire guard thingys that go on top of you skillet over the hole. Just make sure there is about 2 inches of mesh on the plastic. And tape the guard down.

I just poked a bunch of small holes where I keep the light. The wire seems like it would let too much humidity escape unless you siliconed the lamp to the enclosure... If you can find one with a clear top it will help alot too..
