I'm moving one of my girls that is smaller then the other 2 into her own enclosure to put on some weight. Right now I'm short a rheostat, and it will be a few days before I can get another one. I do have an empty slot in the rheostat across the room... is it still effective if I temporarily hook it up via extension cord? It only controls the amount of current right, so it should still work?
