Still learning about the Black pine I acquired several months ago, I have read in a few books that these snakes tended to eat small bird eggs in the wild. My local pet store owns a small chicken, and has offered me his eggs for free. The eggs are about 1.78 inches long, and 3.93 inches in girth. The last measurements of my snake were 23.1 inches long, and about 0.205 pounds (3.28 ounces).
I was curious if it would be possible to feed these eggs to my snake, as they still have a fresh chicken scent to them. I am aware I couldn't use eggs as a staple, and I would just give them as an occasional treat. I am also curious to how to properly store these eggs so they do not lose their scent. I currently just wrapped them up in a paper towel within a plastic bag and put them into the fridge.
