Getting an adult dragon...

pepe15 Feb 21, 2004 09:13 PM

Hi guys,

I have the chance to adopt an adult 2-3 year old dragon with all of its accessories. Since I was focusing on acquireing a baby beardie I haven't paid attention to what I should look for in a healthy adult. Could you guys give me some tips please, thanks! Check out this deal, for a 135 gallon set up, all acc. and a red/sandfire dragon for only $125. I really hope that I will be able to post that I have a new friend in a week or so!!!!

The set up alone is worth more than that. I would be concerned about health issues if I were you no one wants a cronicly ill animal that will drain them of money for years. Get that new Beardie a check-up. And try to find out why the previous is getting rid of it. Maybe it is just not enough time to care for it properly. If thats the case you have lucked out. Because with a little time an effort you will have a buddy.

that the reason the owner is trying to find a home for this beardie is b/c it was his son's pet and the son went to college and leftthe dragon for dad to take care of. The person who is contacting him for me sells the guy 100 each week for the dragon.
