gestation?

does anyone know about how long from the time two alligator lizards mate and the time that the female lays her eggs? or the time that she begins to look fat?

i added a new a.l. a couple weeks ago (caught from the wild) and she already seems REALLY fat, could she have mated before i caught her, or is it possible that the two i have mated and she is now beginning to look fat?

Not 100% sure but I believe mine is expecting. There was a sort period during the winter "I keeo there cage enviroment exact to there out dores inviroment" "when it riains outside it rains in there cage" that they hid out for a couple weeks. After a warming piriod here they emerged and she was verry verry fat. The fold is even gone off of her side.

okay, i looked again and she (assuming it's a "she" still has the fold, so she may just be fat and not at all expecting.
