We gave roan a wax worm yesterday, and before he got a chance to eat it, the crickets started eating it, which killed the worm, so he wouldn't eat it. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? I hear alot of people use a feeding cup, and use a variety diet at almost every meal. Does this happen to you?

Taralynn,

Crickets, when hungry, will eat other insects - even other crickets! We cup feed - but not crickets with any other bug. If you feed wax worms - best to feed them alone in the cup.

Hope this helps,
