My redeyes

So I haven't noticed them eating at all and I understand that most people don't see there redeyes eat, but is there any way to be sure that their eating.

What size are they? If they're still babies, I would suggest keeping them in one of those little "critter keepers" or a 5 gallon tank all the time until they grow. This way you can know for sure if they eat or not because if you put 12 crickets in & the next day there are only 2 left....well you know where they went
Also, red-eyes are nocturnal, so if you're trying to watch them eat by turning on the ceiling light...this probably disturbs them. Reptiles & amphibians can't see the red light spectrum, so you could get a red light bulb from any pet store & turn that on. You can see everything, but you're not really disturbing the frogs. Also try feeding them at the same time every night, so they know when the food is coming. They can get into a ritual & (for example) every night around 9:00 they start hunting.

just put numbers of the crickets in a small bowl or container that cricket can't crawl out.but redeye could easily crawl in to catch the crickets.
