colorado bullsnake

aquila2883 Feb 22, 2004 04:27 PM

Hello, I have a colorado bullsnake, 4 monthes old. She was the typical color of a bullsnake, slightly dark with a tinge of pink to her sides and a bit of green near her head and on her belly. Recently she started to turn a grayish purple on her sides and back. Her heat pad is not to hot, so it's not burns or anything. I know that she's not shedding, this has been going on for the past month even through a shed. Anyone know what is going on??? Is this ussual for this breed? Thank you!
Rachel

I'll try to get one sent in. I don't have a digital camera and will have to wait to borrow one. I talked to a local reptile breeder and he said down the bloodlines there one of her parents, grandparents... ect.. ect, one of the snakes she came form may have been breed to a pine snake. Talk to you later! Bye!
