Wow!! I love it. Just beautiful.
really nice color!!!!!!
wow, and such color, too! makes me think about getting junior a girlfriend someday (assuming he does turn out to be a male...) and trying my hand at that, myself... thing is, i'd be too sad or protective about seeling them, and i'd probably wind up with a houseful of 'em... hmm, maybe i should just stick with one!
You're KILLING me, Carl! Hahaha... VERY nice looking baby.
Matt
those two you got last summer.
Maybe you should keep them?

Arg... I DO still think these two here are great. But, where am I going to keep them??? Heck, I had a tough time making a new pen for the six hold back Elongata. I've actually thought about taking one or two yearling Elongata to Daytona. I have an almost three year old Sulcata (Melvin) that needs a pen because my wife thinks it's adorable, not to mention it has PERFECT growth. Now Dan's trying to work an emys emys deal for two large males to get things going with mine. Also, remember I plan to populate Florida with Pancakes! Hahaha... I need to think it all through again... But hey, I'm not complaining!
Matt
p.s. - See attached pic of Melvin

I recently parted with a holdback redfoot from last year and two very nice juvenile females because of space/time constraints.
Too many can be a drag.
But then I am always looking for one of those 'can't do without' individuals to add to my colony.
What a beautiful, beautiful baby!
Lucky you! It must be wonderful every single time, to see a little guy like that hatching!
Maybe it is a good thing, that mine are much too young to breed. I think, I would never be able to part with the babies...
Gaby
they are cute little buggers! And I have to tell you that even after about your 400th hatchling, it doesn't get any easier to part with them.
