woma breeding question

s_dilks Feb 22, 2004 05:00 PM

this morning i woke up and found my womas mating. at first i was excited but then i thought to myself, these womas are only 2 years old. do you think the female will be able to handle the stress of being gravid. she is about 3.4 to 4 feet long already but im worried she will get egg bound. any info or experiences are greatly appriciated. thanks

steve.

...but if you didn't want your snakes to breed....especially if you're concerned about the health of a gravid animal....why did you put them together?

Oh well...accidents happen i guess. Good luck!

I know that womas can be bred as early as 18 months. The outcome all depends on how fat and healthy she is now. I would feed her all she wants if she will eat. Good luck!
