Geeez, I'm trying the best I can. How exciting can a sand boa forum get?

Wow, I think you have one of every thing. No wonder I see you everywhere. For several years I had Bearded Dragons, Crested Geckos, a Mali Uromastyx, a Savanna Monitor, a 6 1/2' Central American Boa, and Ball Pythons. Then I did not have anything for a while.

I got married a year and a half ago and finally settled down. Kim knew that I was into reptiles but was never keen on snakes. I eventually sneaked in a Kenyan and then another and another. Now she understands how important they are to me...ha. ha.. For not caring for snakes too much, she is in the room when every I am giving them water or cleaning cages. She still cant handle the feeding part and probable never will.

I have started off small and am working my way up you might say. If things work out I will be getting a Hogg Island in two weeks. At least she know about this one..

Well, you see our problem is that we're both into snakes. So there's no one to say 'er... maybe we don't need 28 of those'. Well, except our friends and relatives.

I was looking at your list again. I just love those Mandarin Ratsnakes. They have to be one of the best looking snakes on the planet. Have you been successful at any matings yet or are they still babies.

But you don’t have any Erx johnii... I have the duller looking johnii johnni but I can’t wait for my female to full-grown. I have never seen a 4ft sand boa (if she gets that big).

My mandarins MIGHT breed next year. They're pretty awesome and not so hard to care for, but very nervous.
I really like Persian sand boas (E. johni persicus) a bit better than johni... I guess I'm a sucker for those bands. I just haven't been able to find any females, and I've only seen three males for sale in the last few years. I also want some jayakari. Those are probably my favorites, but I don't have the $$$ for them.
