I feed my guys rep-cal pellets, greens, and silkworms. I have read that many people give silkworms every other day or less. Is there a problem giving them daily? I have 2 beardies and I have about 250 silkworms and I'm waiting for 500 to hatch- I DON"T KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING!! I'd hate to waste them but if they are a good staple do I have to limit how much they eat silkworms? And how much is too much? I always start their day with greens and pellets first before any silkworms are given. Goldberg is 5 months and Jess is 3 months.

a couple of times a day is ok too....they'll just eat fewer pellets/greens....just make sure you offer the greens and pellets in the am before the silkies so they get their veggies in....

Thanks! The first thing I do is give them their greens and pellets so I will just continue and not worry so much on how much silkworms they shouldn't have. You said when they are that young- when do they start cutting their protien intake??

sorry I didn't reply sooner....lol...missed your reply....I cut back to once per day with bugs at 6-8 months, then at 12 months....every other day, and by 18 have them down to 1-2 bug feedings per week.....
